Community Development Project Coordinator
V Konopka is the Community Development Project Coordinator at the WV Brownfields Assistance Center at WVU. A proud Appalachian, they love working on-the-ground with communities to help them build capacity and make local change. They graduated from Bethany College with bachelor's degrees in history and interdisciplinary studies. V also received their master's in public administration from WVU, with emphases in community development and cultural resource management. When they’re not on the clock, they enjoy hiking, knitting, doing puzzles, and tarot.
